Carry Me Away

Hey SOUS friends! It's Stephanie here from Bits & Pieces (& Scraps) to share my latest layout using the February 27 sketch from the wonderful Nanne!

I used photos of my kids on the carousel at a local amusement park from almost four years ago! Yes they are old, but I never scrapped them & I was looking for some pictures that were NOT winter themed!!! I am so ready for Spring to get here!

I went with the overall design & placement of the sketch, but I substituted a doily for the larger circle in the sketch.
All of my papers are from Bella Blvd. The "Carry Me Away" tag & the wooden ticket are from My Mind's Eye. The "Love Ya" flair is from Heidi Swapp. The lovely fringe trim below my pictures is from Studio Calico.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you get a chance to play along with this fun sketch!! If you do, please link up so that we can see your creations!
Have a wonderful Thursday!!
Hugs xo

Grateful for You

Good Morning! It's Charlotte back again with another layout to share with you done with the Feb. 27th sketch. If you're anything like me, you're scrapping way behind. I had these photos of the grandkids from last Fall sitting on my desk waiting for the perfect sketch and this was it.

We had spent a weekend at the lake and the leaves were plentiful. The kids had so much fun playing in them and of course, I had fun snapping photos! The line I used was from Carta Bella and I loved the cute little animals in it. For the background, I enlarged a leaf die cut super big and put it behind the photos. There are so many possibilities when you look through your library to choose from!

We sure would love to see your take on the sketch, so make sure to link up your projects on the side bar!

A summer night

Hello, friends! It's Eli from scrap-colors. It's my day to use the beautiful sketch by Nanné. I chose two pictures of last summer, because I really want to vacation.

I followed the sketch in the arrangement of of the different parts, which I really liked.
I cut out a circle of white cardboard and I colored irregularly with a black marker.
From a paper Studio Calico I cut designs I used as embellishments.

To end I added some stickers and die-cuts.

Carpenters' Hall - Feb 27th Sketch

Jane with you today, here at
Stuck On U Sketches,
with my interpretation of
 Nanne's latest sketch,
which you will find on
 the right side bar.
A photo from my recent trip to Philadelphia.
Carpenters' Hall, where they held the
 First Continental Congress of the
 United Colonies of North America
 in 1774.

The gorgeous papers are from
 KaiserCraft "Periwinkle".
I have been hoarding these for some time.
(You were with me when I bought them in
 Brisbane Tracey. Remember.)

I have also used the Collectables from
 the same collection.
They are such handy
 additions to any layout, and
 they co-ordinate beautifully,
of course!

The fronds are one of my favourite
 dies from
 Marianne Designs
 "Leaves Set 192".

Flowers are Prima
 "Gallery Roses Pierre"
 and Green Tara
 "Ivory Gardenia".

Lace and trim from my stash
and Bazzill cardstock.

Treasured photo's from my trip
 of a lifetime.
 Tons more to come!
Thanks for joining me here today.
Remember to come back every day,
 for lots of inspiration from
 my SOUS Sisters.
And you must join in with our latest sketch.
We love to see your layouts.
Hugs for now.

Hello, it's Rosie from As Seen In My Scrapbook with my version of the latest sketch challenge.

The large circle was the border on a piece of die cut paper, I trimmed the inside out and then folded the frame in a couple of places to make it smaller and maintain the shape.

The triangles are 2x2 squares I cut in half corner to corner then layered one over the other creating the borders.

I finished it off with a few glitter gold stickers, chipboard and die cuts.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you'll join us in this latest sketch challenge, don't forget to share your layout with us!

Rosie :)
